About Studio 5

Studio 5 is a performing arts studio built on passion, creativity, and community. Founded by Elyse in 2025, Studio 5 began with just four students and has grown into a vibrant, close-knit community of performers who are encouraged to explore their talents, gain confidence, and shine on stage. In 2025, Elyse was joined by her sister, Leah, as our dance coach, bringing even more expertise, energy, and heart to the studio.

At Studio 5, we believe in more than just technique — we value personal growth, self-expression, and collaboration. Every student is nurtured as an individual, in a supportive environment where their voice, creativity, and confidence can flourish. Our intimate class sizes allow for personalised attention and a tailored approach to learning, helping students progress at their own pace and achieve their unique goals.

We take pride in our strong ethical foundation:

  • We create a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all students, including neurodiverse learners.

  • We encourage integrity, dedication, and kindness, both inside and outside the studio.

  • We celebrate progress over perfection, helping students develop resilience, confidence, and a lifelong love of performing.

Community is at the heart of everything we do. We love connecting with other studios, teachers, and students through small events, workshops, and performances, fostering collaboration, inspiration, and friendship across the performing arts world.

Studio 5 is more than just a studio — it’s a place where students are seen, heard, and empowered to grow, both as performers and as individuals. We are proud to offer a space where every student can discover their voice, develop their skills, and truly shine on and off the stage.

Meet the Owner / Founder!

Elyse is a contemporary vocal coach, creative mentor, and the proud owner of her own performing arts studio. She holds a Bachelor of Music and has spent years nurturing singers of all ages and abilities, helping them develop strong technique, confidence, and a genuine love for music.

From a young age, Elyse dreamed of creating a studio like the one she wished she had as a child. Some of her fondest memories are of dancing, singing, and learning from her first vocal coach — moments filled with laughter, creativity, and a sense of achievement. These experiences inspired her to build a space where students can enjoy lessons that are fun, challenging, and tailored to each individual.

Elyse opened her studio in February 2025 with just four students, and by the end of the year, that number had grown to twelve. Excitingly, as the studio moves into 2026, there are already over twenty students enrolled. In Term 2 of 2025, Elyse was joined by her older sister, Leah, as the studio’s dance coach, adding another layer of creativity and expertise to the program.

Her teaching style is kinaesthetic, supportive, and highly engaging. Specialising in contemporary vocals, Elyse works with all students, including neurodiverse learners, in a safe and inclusive environment where every voice is celebrated.

Elyse finds the greatest joy in watching her students light up as they discover what they’re capable of. Lessons are filled with growth, creativity, and confidence — and, of course, plenty of fun. She takes pride in the community she has built, the talented performers who walk through her doors each week, and the collaborative spirit that Leah brings to the studio.

For those seeking a vocal coach who is passionate, reliable, and genuinely invested in their journey, Elyse provides guidance, encouragement, and a space to truly find your voice.

What sets studio 5 apart!

At our studio, community comes first. We love connecting with other studio owners, coaches, and students, and often create small, fun events where everyone can interact, share their love of performing, and celebrate progress together.

What truly sets us apart is the intimate and personalised experience we offer every student. Parents often comment on how much they value the close-knit environment — where their child is seen, supported, and encouraged every step of the way. Unlike larger studios, our students have more opportunities to perform, grow, and excel, rather than being stuck in large age-based classes or going unseen on stage.

We focus on nurturing each student’s individual strengths and passions, giving them space to thrive creatively, technically, and confidently. It’s a studio where progress is visible, achievements are celebrated, and every voice matters.
